Program description

An RHU (Registered Health Underwriter) is a professional financial advisor specializing in living benefits, including income replacement and risk management solutions for individuals, business owners and professionals. The RHU is the only designation in Canada denoting specialized knowledge in all areas of living benefits and is the premier credential in the health insurance industry. RHU - Course 504 This course deals with critical illness and long-term care insurance including marketing, selling, product design and pricing, underwriting and claims. This course also considers marketing, selling, product design and pricing, underwriting and claims administration for a variety of group insurance products. RHU - Course 303 This course provides a comprehensive analysis of disability income insurance and its application in risk management planning in personal and business affairs. The course also addresses marketing, selling, product design and pricing, underwriting and claims for disability insurance and other private health insurance products
