Program description

The Accounting major is designed to prepare you for a career as a professional accountant. The program will allow you to meet the course requirements of the three professional accounting organizations: Certified General Accountants (CGA); Certified Management Accountants (CMA), and Chartered Accountants (CA).The program provides a heavy emphasis on accounting-related courses combined with broad coverage of the major business disciplines. UOIT's accounting courses are very demanding, but the high expectations help ensure that graduates have the skills and abilities necessary for success in their professional exams and careers.
