MSc (Mathematics Major)

Program description

The primary objective of the graduate program in Mathematical Sciences is to provide advanced training in research, while offering students opportunities to expand their experience and knowledge. The program gives students the chance to investigate specific problems in the mathematical sciences and then develop essential skills in scholarly writing under the supervision of a highly qualified faculty advisor.  Many graduates go on to doctoral programs at other universities, while others apply their skills in industry or as teachers.
