Program description

Identity, privacy, and security (IPS) are closely related socio-technical issues of increasing importance in contemporary networked society. The Identity, Privacy & Security specialty is available to students who have completed one of the Master of Information program concentrations, the General Program Option, or the Thesis Option.

Students of this program will learn about/develop skills in the following areas:

• Cryptography

• Data integrity

• Forensic data analysis

• Security of universal access
