Computer Systems Technology – Networking

Program description

This program’s hands-on approach helps students gain plenty of practical practice by delving inside PC hardware and learning the intricacies of operating systems, exploring up-to-date computer systems and networks technology, working with the leading edge of communication, and computer/server and network technologies. Possible career outcomes include employment as a Security Analyst, Network/System Administrator, and Network/System Analyst.

Students of this program will learn about/develop skills in the following areas:

• Network security

• Internetwork troubleshooting

• Computer forensics

• Network design and testing
