Information Systems Security – Computers and Networking (Graduate Certificate)

Program description

This program will help students become skilled in formulating and organizing security policies and procedures to protect corporate information assets including legal, regulatory and governance issues, and teach them to detect various hacking and penetration attacks. Graduates are prepared for jobs that may include Information Security Administrator, Network/Systems Security Analyst, and Security Auditor. Admission requirements are a three-year advanced college diploma or university degree in a computer-science, IT, or business-related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Students of this program will learn about/develop skills in the following areas:

• Wireless network security

• Information security

• Business processes and security policies

• Computer forensics
