Program description

Computer science programs provide a well-rounded education that teaches computing principles relevant to a career in cybersecurity. This foundational knowledge can lead to an entry-level cybersecurity job, such as a Systems Analyst. Supplemental specialization and certification education by students will expand the range of cybersecurity work opportunities that they’ll be qualified for.

Students of this program will learn about/develop skills in the following areas:

• Information structures

• Database management systems

• Discrete mathematics for computing science

• Computer architecture
