Computer Science with specialization in Networks and Security

Program description

This computer science program offers a specialization in Network Security, along with a co-op option. Computer science programs provide a well-rounded education of computing principles relevant to a career in cybersecurity. This foundational knowledge can lead to an entry-level cybersecurity job, such as a Systems Analyst. Supplemental specialization and certification education by students will expand the range of cybersecurity work opportunities that they’ll be qualified for.

Students of this program will learn about/develop skills in the following areas:

• Data structures and algorithms

• Cyber-ethics

• Network security

• Social media and mobile technology for end users
